CLASSIFICATION BY UNITED NATIONS

The United Nations classifies countries into three categories: Developed, Economic in Transition, and Developing. However, in the ICCN 2024 registration policy only considers Developing and Developed Countries, with Economic in Transition countries being classified as developing.
